Perched amongst the terraced vineyards of Le Fel and looking down onto the Lot valley and river 860ft below, this is a house extraordinaire! The village of Le Fel with its two restaurants is 10 minutes walk away through the vineyard terraces, and Montsalvy and Entraygues are both 8 kilometres distance. In both of these large villages there are banks, shops, bakers, bars and restaurants.

This is the oldest house in le Fel and over the recent years has been artistically renovated by the French owners. They have filled the house with wonderful artefacts that give the house its own special ambience. A cellar adjoining goes back to the time when monks produced and stored their wine here. It has its own driveway of 500 metres through the vineyards of le Fel. Pergolas with hanging vines give beautiful dappled shade and a large terrace with a table and chairs overlooking the swimming pool and valley beyond enables visitors to eat al fresco in the most magnificent surroundings and views that will take your breathe away. The main entrance from the terrace leads into a very large dining area with a glass topped table and a well equipped kitchen which suits amazingly well within this startling room.

A huge bedroom with a large double bed and lounge chairs with its own terrace adjoins the dining area. A lounge and TV room are also on the ground floor. This room as with all others is decorated in a wonderfully artistic style. A stair case leads to the second double bedroom and then above this surprising room is a mezzanine floor and a reading and relaxing area.

A second staircase from the dining area leads up to the large bathroom with a bath, shower and WC which in themselves are rather special. A glass roof gives a wonderful sensation of light and space- but don’t worry!- nobody can see within.
Towels and pool towels are provided.

This has got to be one of the most amazing holiday cottages in the region and we are unable to accept bookings from families with children under the age of 14. This is because of the nature and the style of the house.

The design of the house with its special features and different levels is not for the faint hearted or those guests who prefer neat and tidy surroundings.
