A beautifully renovated 250 year old stone cottage, featured on postcards and calendars of the area, perched stunningly on the slopes of ancient Le Fel vineyards in spectacular fashion, with panoramic views over the River Lot and surrounding valley. It is 5 miles from the village of Entraygues sur Truyere and 6 miles from the hilltop village of Montsalvy.

Restored by local craftsmen, the cottage provides luxury accommodation to a high degree of comfort and ambience. Access to the entrance is via attractive stone steps rising to a small terraced area with table and chairs for al fresco meals. The entrance leads into a spacious living area comprising at one end comfortable settees, log burning stove, satellite UK TV, and has a restored original beamed ceiling. At the other end is a well equipped fitted and tiled kitchen housing a fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven and gas hob. A dining table and chairs are by French doors opening on to a small balcony overlooking the River lot. Breathtaking!

Upstairs, two bedrooms with beautiful heavy wooden beams each have comfortable twin beds. There is a shared shower room with WC. The lower ground floor accommodation has separate access and a double-bedded room with en-suite shower and WC. There is also a utility room with a washing machine on the lower ground floor. All linen and towels are provided.
Steps from the terrace lead to the 8x4m pool and upper terrace with wonderful views of the river below. There is ample parking.

The cottage is within 1 mile of the recommended Auberge restaurants in Le Fel and 5 miles from Entraygues.
