If you have never visited our region, then we have introduced an exciting new way of soaking up the atmosphere before you get here. These professionally produced "Sound Pictures" have been recorded as a personal views of various aspects of the region by broadcaster Tim Richards.
These sound pictures are provided in MP3 format, so you can listen to them with most computers or you can download them to your personal MP3 player (eg i-pod) and listen to them in your favourite chair with a glass of wine — just close your eyes and imagine you are there!
We currently have seven sound pictures for you - just click on the one you want. Please note that these are quite large files, so we wouldn't recommend it if you don't have a broadband connection.

Notes for those of you who aren't too happy with computers:
If you single click on an underlined title above the track should eventually start playing in the audio player on your computer (usually Windows Media Player, iTunes or Real Player). I say eventually because big files such as these can sometimes take minutes to download, and they often won't start until they are fully downloaded.
You may be asked what you want to do with the file when you click (this depends on how your computer has been set up) and you can choose "Open with" (this will play the file) or "Save" which will save it to My Documents unless you have specified otherwise.
If you want to create a local copy on your computer, then right click the title (CTRL-Click for Mac) and choose" Save As" or "Save Target As" from the list of options. You can then choose where you want to save it to - eg a hard drive or a storage device plugged in a USB port such as a memory stick or an MP3 player.
