The Keep
In another part of the Chateau with its own entrance door from the street is The Keep. It sleeps four in two double bedrooms and has a sofa bed for two in the lounge.
It enjoys the same fantastic garden, pool and tennis court facilities but sits within the chateau apart from the other residences. From the entrance hall and down a small flight is the kitchen and dining area.
The kitchen is very well equipped and includes an oven, a 4 burner hob and a micro wave oven. There is a dish washing machine under the spacious work tops and a fridge freezer.
The dining area is comfortable and large enough for six people. In this room is a large double window which at one time was probably the entrance to the Keep and looks out onto one of the village's quiet and ancient streets.
Upstairs are the two double bedrooms and two bathrooms. One is furnished with a shower and WC and the other with a full sized bath and WC (all linen and towels are supplied). One bedroom has twin beds and the other a large double bed. On the same level is the very peaceful lounge with TV (this has a satellite dish so you can bring your own Sky or Freesat box if you wish) and comfortable sofas. There is a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Around the town there are many public car parks and whilst a car is probably needed there are no parking facilities within the Chateau grounds, but the village restaurants and shops are just minutes away.
